  • Your last 3 posts each deride conservatives as hyprocrites.

It seems that the only "value" you liberals embrace is not being a hypocrite!!

At least the people you make fun of are/were trying to make a better world. The people on your side don't give one iota about character or values. NO!!!!

All you care about is exposing hypocrisy. Ich!!

  • Wow, so it's better to be a hypocite than to acually value not being one. Wow, that is some really convoluted fucking thinking.

You know I think the people who are trying not to be hypocritical are those that actually have character and values and who care about said character and values, unlike the GOP (Grand ol' Pharisees) who will turn any trick for a vote. The "people on your side" only care abou turing a buck - no matter what the cost to another human.

    John, is that you?

  • Get it right,

I don't see you condemning Ryan's actions as showing that he doesn't have the right character and values. Clearly his actions were unacceptable and he was found guilty in a court of law.

Why don't you condemn those actions? Is it because the only value you embrace is protecting your own instead of actually valuing truth and integrity?

So many prosecutions nowadays are politically motivated it's tough to say that a court finding of guilty equates to lack of morals.

Principled, moral people follow the path of the Lord, even where it exposes them to the wrath of hypocrite-hunters like Macswain!

And no, ykwhia, I'm not John.

  • Get it right,

How can I be on your side? I don't want to be on the side that doesn't "give one iota about character or values."

Yet, I also want to say that it's not OK for a governor to accept bribes in exchange for government contracts. Does that mean I'm on the other side? Does that mean that I don't care about values and character?

If I were to overlook Ryan's criminal behavior, would I be on the side that cares about character and values?
