Hey, you forgot Shawn Doyle - Big Love and Bruce Dern - Big Love.
Great show. Somehow I doubt it's gonna get the attention it deserves, though.

Hi Harold!
I didn't know you came slumming over here at macswain's blog. For those of us who are entertainmently challenged, what the hell is "big love"?

ykwia,
"Big Love" was HBO's new series that played right after the Sopranos.
As I am lucky to get an hour of TV in on any given evening, I tivo'd Big Love and watched a disappointing season of the Sopranos. With the Sopranos over, I've watched all but two episodes of Big Love and it has outshined its mobster cousin.
The show follows a polygamist family - one husband, three wives, six kids - living in suburban Utah but with remaining and problematic connections to the ultra-religious polygamists who live sequestered in a rural area referred to as "the compound."

Harold,
Shawn Doyle, IMHO, is solid but not great. Bruce Dern is great but his character annoys me.

Okay, I just got HBO what time is it on so i can dvr it?
Sorry to hear the soprano's is disappointing you, i know how you were looking forward to the new season. I just hate it when the mighty fall, with political exceptions of course!
