Repugs: No Free Speech for Michael J. Fox Or Anyone With Parkinson's

Numerous Repugs - including Kathryn Jean Lopez and Rush Limbaugh - are blowing a fuse because Michael J. Fox made a campaign ad supporting Claire McCaskill in the Missouri Senate race.

Apparently, they believe people with Parkinson's should neither be seen nor heard.

Wonderful people, those ones.

  • You must have comprehension problems. Michael J got his free speech and now he get's his criticism of his tearjerk ad.

  • The criticism is he shouldn't be able to speak in his condition.

The Repugs are trying to create a false line of decorum that will keep the disabled from speaking out against them.

  • I've always been amazed that the Conserv-o-bots' success seems tied to making their viewers/listeners/voters believe that they're victims (ironic when you consider that many of these viewers/listeners/voters are more privileged than other Americans).

This is just another case of them playing their "Evil Hollywood-type is out to get you" card. Barbara Streisand is old news, Sean Penn has gone back to acting... so I guess it's Michael J. Fox's turn.

In this case, the evil Hollywood liberal wasn't faking the fact that he has parkinsons... he was "playing up" his symptoms. As if HE was the victim of something, as opposed to all us white conservative Christians who are (naturally) against stem cell research because we've been told to be. The nerve of that evil actor... and you know what? He's CANADIAN too!!!!
