I've actually delivered a pretty hefty spanking to the Righties in the comments section to this post by Rightwingclueless.
Here's my final comment:
Specter admitted to talking to his Chief of Staff about the letter between Christmas and New Year's Day.
"So Specter was wrong when he said Kennedy had never requested the documents ... and going into histrionics to chastise him about it.
"He took the smart way out & agreed to turn over the docs (No doubt other repubs were shocked by Specter's actions in heightening the media's attention to the CAP issue).
"Some smackdown [by Specter] ... Specter was proven to have made a false claim, caved to what Kennedy wanted and raised the profile on an issue that damages Scalito.
"Well played, Mr. Specter."
