GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS First the bad news: I hear that right-wing radio guy Rush Limbaugh and CNN daytime anchor Daryn Kagan — who've been dating for nearly two years — are finally kaput. The good news, of course, is that the fabulous Kagan is back on the market.

I urge Macswain blogreaders to review this truly bizarre contract. And consider that in George Bush's redstate America there may be a judge or two who'd actually consider enforcing it.

Yes. I could absolutely see a guy like Bill Bennett pulling out his ruler to ensure that the 3/4" landing strip provision is strictly adhered to.

Go back and check your history. As the sole defender of Iowa, it is not a red state. It did go for Bush in the last elections, BUT, historically, it is a Democratic, liberal state. I would call it a purple state.
And sure Bill Bennett would enforce the landing strip rule. Christ, isn't this the same Bennett who thinks the crime rate would go down with the abortion of all black babies? He is just twisted, or in an Olympic frame of mind, he is twizzled. And when did he become a judge. Aren't there ethics rules against this?
