Bush Demotes Tony Snow

Having called Bush an embarassment, Tony Snow was demoted today from his cushy, high-paying job in the Republican machine as an "Anchorman" at Fox "News." He has been assigned to the lowly job of White House Press Secretary.

Of course, Snow knows exactly what he must do to get back into the good graces of Bush and the machine ... lie.

Should be fun!!

  • I understand that freeperville is currently being scubbed of comments by the decider's new frontman. Surely, lgf will follow suit. Hard to believe there would be something worse than calling your boss impotent and a wimp. and those were some of the nicer things he said.

  • In the past, haven't Fox News "jounalists" consistently denied
    being shills for the administration?

Seems like this latest move will make it harder to do that in the future.

  • even though I'm a right wing nut, I think webhub makes a good point here.

  • Fox News and the White House should merge.

Both serve the same function. It is wasteful to have 2 different organizations doing the same thing.

Think of all the fuel that could be saved. Rove could simply walk across the hall to O'Reilly's studio. Fred Barnes would be just down the hall from his bud Dick Cheney.

And no one could again say the administraiton isn't interested in conservation!
