Rove's pushin Bush to nominate someone for the Supreme Court seat ASAP.
Rove's overarching goal is to stem the ditch-Rove tide. However, he's got the chimp convinced it's to get the confirmation done so Janice Rogers Brown can take her seat the first Monday in October.
Look for a nomination by Friday at the latest.

webhub,
I couldn't agree more.
Rumors are floating tonight that the nominee will be Edith Clement.
Get ready for the storm.

Intrade puts the odds of Rove resigning before the end of September at about 20%.
Odds of Edith Clement being nominated are about 75%.
I recognize that market-based methods are contrary to the tenor of this blog, but I hear that this has a pretty good track record.

Webhub: You are right on. Rove will do anything to save his fat little pink buns. He didn't a nomination and the chimp gave it to him. Bearshaft

how is the pull out going, and can we expect to have the troops home for Christmas?

Even if Rove committed a "crime", why wouldn't the prez simply pardon him and use his at an off site location as a consultant?
