John McCain - who painted the rosy, but false, picture of the Iraqi people welcoming us as liberators - is assisting Joe Lieberman in lying about Ned Lamont's position on Iraq.
Please, somebody tell me why these guys should be taken seriously on foreign policy when they can't even engage in an intellectually honest debate.

Your question suggests that there is a rational consideration of these "whack-job" politcos. Do you honestly believe that someone who would buy their disingeounity in the first place would have either the capability or inclination to fairly consider the accuracy of their prognosis or the contradictions in their positions?
