100 Military Fatalities: One Cost of Bush's Iraq Strategy for October 2006
While Bush hems and haws about what rhetoric to apply to his Iraq strategy, we know that strategy has cost 100 military fatalities in the month of October alone.
The violence will continue to ebb and floe for the next two years and we will continue to see war supporters shift to the fantastical "more troops" position (without, of course, giving any specifics as to from where this magical horde is to appear). They'll distance themselves from Bush's failure while pounding their hawkish chests.
